Lot #40 - Franken-Agate Show Block
There's a LOT going on in this agate show block, it's tough to describe. The outer casing of colorful plume agate encases a pocket of quartz... in several forms. Small sparkling quartz crystals cover the bubbly, botryoidal agate surface on the left side of the pocket. Larger sparkling quartz crystals cover the right corner of the pocket. At the center is a stalagmite of stacked sparkling quartz plates, with a hint of purple. An unusual and unique cabinet specimen. 16 cm (L) x 9 cm (W) x 11 cm (H); 1.5 kg.
