The Golden Flame Agate (GFA) is typically found along the Bay of Fundy coast, on the Minas Channel side of the Blomidon Penninsula.  Storm surges erode the coast and expose pieces of the GFA seam along the gravel beaches.  This is one of the most unique Nova Scotia agates, providing excellent lapiday material.  It cuts and polishes very well into show pieces and jewelry.
